SEO and digital visibility, without the monthly mystery
Search work is measurable. Any arrangement that cannot show you the numbers is not worth paying for.
Logic Networks helps organisations across London and the rest of the UK be found for the things they actually do. That means the technical health of the site, the content on it, the way it is described to search engines and the local listings that decide whether you appear on a map.
We report on positions, impressions and enquiries from your own Search Console and analytics, not from a tool that produces a flattering score.
We will also tell you when search is the wrong place to spend. For some organisations the audience is not searching, and a different route is cheaper.
Rankings are not the goal. Enquiries are.
A first place position for a phrase nobody searches is worth nothing. We work from the terms with real volume and real intent, and we show you the volume.
- Numbers from your own Search Console, not a vendor score
- Technical problems fixed before content is added
- Content written for a person, and readable
- No paid links, and no practices that risk a penalty
What is included
Six pieces of work, in the order that produces results soonest.
The first two are where most of the early gain sits, because they remove problems rather than adding effort.
Technical foundations
Nothing in the way of being found.
Whether search engines can reach and understand your pages: the addresses, the sitemap, duplicate content, speed on a phone and the markup that describes what each page is.
This comes first because content added to a site with technical problems performs at a fraction of its potential. Fixing the foundations often moves positions on its own, with no new writing at all.
Finding the terms worth chasing
Real volume, real intent, and honest difficulty.
What people actually type when they want what you provide, how many of them there are, and how hard each term would be to reach.
We separate the terms that bring enquiries from the ones that bring visitors. A term with a hundred searches and clear intent is worth more than one with ten thousand and none.
Content that answers the question
Written for a person first.
Pages that answer the question somebody searched for, organised so the answer is near the top and the detail is below it.
We also connect your pages to each other sensibly, which is one of the most underrated parts of this work and costs nothing but attention.
Local visibility
Appearing where the map appears.
Your business profile completed properly, your details consistent across the directories that matter, and the categories chosen to match what you are searched for.
For anybody serving a city or a region this is often the fastest improvement available, because the map results sit above the ordinary ones.
Protecting positions through a rebuild or a move
The part that loses organisations the most.
When a site is rebuilt or moved, every existing address is mapped to its new place and redirected before launch, with the results monitored afterwards.
A rebuild that skips this loses positions the old site had earned, sometimes for months. We would rather do this than be asked to recover from it, and it is covered under website design and development too.
Reporting you can check yourself
From your own accounts.
A monthly report drawn from your own Search Console and analytics, showing positions, impressions, clicks and where the enquiries came from.
The accounts stay in your name, so you can look at the same figures without us. That is deliberate, and it is the simplest test of whether an agency is confident in its own work.
How it works
Three arrangements, and the audit stands on its own.
An audit you take away and act on yourselves is a legitimate outcome. We would rather be useful once than sell a monthly retainer nobody can evaluate.
Send us your address and we will say which of the three we would suggest, and roughly how long results would take.
-
An audit
Technical health, the terms worth chasing and the content gaps, in priority order with the effort for each. Yours to keep.
-
A fixed piece of work
The technical problems fixed, the main service pages rewritten, the local profile sorted. Scoped and finished, with a before and after.
-
Ongoing work
A monthly arrangement with agreed priorities and a report from your own accounts. Cancellable, because it should stand on its results.
Who it is for
Search work suits organisations whose customers look for what they do, which is most of them, and where an enquiry is worth enough to justify the effort.
It is also for anybody recovering from a rebuild that went wrong, which is a surprisingly common reason people arrive here.
- Businesses competing for enquiries in a defined area
- Charities and non profits needing to be found by beneficiaries and donors
- Education organisations where parents and applicants search first
- Organisations whose positions dropped after a site rebuild
- Anybody paying for search work and unable to see what changed
- Teams launching a new service nobody knows to look for yet
What we need from you
Three things, and the first two are access rather than effort.
The third is the one that decides how fast this moves. Search work needs somebody who can approve a page of text without a three week round trip.
Your own search accounts
Search Console and analytics, in your organisation’s name. If they do not exist, that is the first task, because without them everything after is guesswork.
Access to edit the site
Or a route to whoever can. Search work stalls when every change has to be queued with a third party for a fortnight.
Someone who knows the work
An hour with somebody who speaks to your customers. What they call things is usually what people search for, and it is rarely what the brochure says.
What we usually find in an audit
These come up on most sites, and the first four are often fixable in a week.
- Pages competing with each other for the same term
- Page titles that are all the organisation’s name and nothing else
- Images without descriptions, and none of them compressed
- A site slow on a phone, almost always because of image sizes
- Service pages of two paragraphs where competitors have full answers
- No mention anywhere of the areas the organisation actually covers
- A business profile half completed, with the wrong category
- Old addresses returning errors, from a rebuild that skipped the redirects
Our steps for working together
The order is chosen so the cheapest improvements happen first. Writing content onto a site with technical problems wastes the content.
- Get the measurements in place Search Console and analytics in your name, with today’s figures recorded. Without a baseline nothing later can be proved.
- Audit and fix the technical problems Indexing, duplication, speed, mobile layout and errors. Frequently moves positions with no new writing.
- Decide the terms A short list with volume and intent, agreed with you rather than presented to you.
- Improve the pages that already have positions Before writing anything new. A page on the second results page is far cheaper to move than a new one.
- Write what is missing New pages only where there is a real term with no page to answer it.
- Build visibility off the site Local listings, profiles and genuine mentions. No paid links.
- Report and reprioritise Monthly, from your own accounts, with the next month’s list agreed.
How we set priorities
Anything broken comes first. Then anything close to the first results page, because the effort there produces the fastest return. Then the terms with the clearest commercial intent. A term you like the sound of but nobody searches for comes last, and we will show you the volume rather than argue about it.
What we will not do
- No paid or exchanged links They work briefly and then cost you more than they earned. We will not put your site at that risk.
- No pages written for search engines If a person would not read it, it will not hold a position for long.
- No guaranteed positions Nobody controls the results. Anybody promising a specific position is either guessing or misleading you.
- No hidden accounts The Search Console, the analytics and the business profile stay in your name.
- No vanity scores A tool’s number out of a hundred is not a result. Positions, impressions and enquiries are.
How long it takes, honestly
Technical fixes can show in a few weeks. Content on an established site usually takes two to three months to settle. A new site, or a competitive term in London, takes longer than that, and anybody telling you otherwise is selling. We will give you a realistic expectation at the start and then show you the actual figures against it.
Reading Search Console without drowning in it
Search Console is free, it holds the only authoritative figures about how you appear in Google, and most organisations never open it because the interface offers too much at once.
Four things in it are worth your attention and the rest can be ignored.
- Queries, sorted by impressions What people searched for when your site appeared. This is the list of what Google thinks you are for, and it is often not what you think.
- Average position, filtered to a single page Anything sitting between eleven and twenty is on the second results page. Those are the cheapest wins available to you.
- Pages, sorted by clicks Your five most valuable pages. Improvements there are worth more than anywhere else on the site.
- The indexing report Pages Google has chosen not to include, and its stated reason. A page that is not indexed cannot rank, however good it is.
Two warnings. The data lags by two or three days, so today’s figures are always incomplete. And comparing a month with the previous month will mislead you where your work is seasonal; compare with the same month last year instead.
We set this up in your own name, show your team how to read those four views, and use the same figures in our reporting, so there is never a separate set of numbers only we can see.
What good looks like
You can open Search Console yourself and see the terms you are found for. Your service pages answer the question somebody searched for. Enquiries arrive from search and you know which pages produced them. And no part of the arrangement depends on an account or a report only your agency can see.
