Describe the problem in plain words. You do not need to know which service it belongs to.

We are in East London and we work with organisations across London and the rest of the UK. Most enquiries are answered the same working day.

If something is happening right now, a phone call is better than a form. If you are comparing suppliers or writing a funding bid, the form gives us enough to come back with something useful.

Either way, the first conversation costs nothing and there is no obligation after it.

Send us an enquiry

Four lines is enough. What you do, roughly how many people, what is wrong and how soon it matters.

If you already know the service you want, say so. If you do not, describe the symptom and we will say which page it belongs on.

What happens after you send it

    1. We read it and reply Usually the same working day, with either an answer or two questions.
    2. A short conversation Twenty minutes on the telephone or in a meeting. No presentation.
    3. A review, if it is needed Written down, with what we would change, in what order, and the cost of each part.
    4. You decide Including to do nothing, or to take the review to somebody else.

What to tell us, to get a useful answer quickly

Five details change what we can say in a first reply.

None of them is essential. Each one saves a round of questions, which is worth something if you are on a deadline.

    • Size and sector

How many people use your systems, and whether you are a business, a charity or an education organisation. The advice differs by all three.

    • What is happening now

The symptom rather than the diagnosis. What broke, what is slow, or what somebody has asked you to prove.

    • Your deadline, if you have one

A lease, a term, a funding bid, an audit or a renewal date. A real date changes what we recommend.

    Reasons people get in touch

You are not unusual whichever of these applies. They are, in order, the most common reasons an organisation contacts us for the first time.

If one of them is happening now, put it in the first line of your message and we will treat it accordingly.

    • Something has broken and the current arrangement is not coping
    • A client or insurer has sent a security questionnaire
    • A server or the whole office is moving
    • Comparing suppliers, and wanting a second quote
    • Needing a costed piece of work for a funding bid
    • Wanting an independent opinion on somebody else’s proposal

Before you send it, two things worth knowing

Both of these come up often enough that it saves time to say them here.

We will tell you if the answer is to do nothing

If your current arrangement is adequate, or if the work would cost more than it saves, we will say so. That includes telling you to stay with your existing supplier. We would rather be useful once and be remembered than sell something that does not pay for itself.

Your accounts stay in your name

Whatever we end up doing, the domain, the licences, the cloud subscription and the search accounts are registered to your organisation. If a previous supplier holds any of those, getting them back is usually the first piece of work, and it is worth checking before you speak to anybody.

    Ready when you are

Send the form above, or telephone 020 8986 2596 during working hours. If it is urgent, say so in the first line and we will treat it that way.

    Common questions

    How quickly will you reply?

Most enquiries are answered the same working day, with either an answer or two questions. If something is happening right now, telephone rather than using the form.

What should we put in the message?

Four lines is enough: what you do, roughly how many people use your systems, what is wrong and how soon it matters. If you have a deadline, say what it is and why.

    Is the first conversation free?

Yes, and there is no obligation after it. A review is a separate, defined piece of work, and we will tell you before we start what it costs.

Do you charge for a quote?

No. We charge for a review, which is a piece of work that produces something you can use. A quote for work we have already scoped costs nothing.

Where are you, and do you visit?

Unit C3 Matchmakers Wharf, Homerton Road, London E9 5GP. We visit across London for reactive work and travel further for planned work.

    What are your opening hours?

Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00. Any arrangement outside those hours is agreed in writing rather than implied, so you know exactly what is covered.
